BTE Association was founded in Ankara by a group of educators who are aware of the importance of voluntary work and who are aware that giving the necessary importance to the field is a matter of the country in the process that started with the removal of IT courses from the weekly course schedules. It is a non-governmental organisation where Information Technologies Teachers, academicians working in this field, education faculty students, people working in education and informatics sector are members. With 550 members, 4 provincial representatives, 20 provincial coordinators, working teams established within its structure and 5000 IT educators in its area of influence, it carries out its activities on a voluntary basis.
